About Associated Pallet, Inc. Associated Pallet, Inc. is located on 65 acres of land in South Carrollton, KY. We have had a rich history of progressive growth and experience in the industrial wood market since 1964.
Our People Associated Pallet, Inc. is a family-owned business that employs 130+ workers at its mills. The employees' dedication to their jobs and experience in the wood products business, as well as the support provided by the friendly office team, have been essential to the steady progression and development of the Associated Pallet family of companies.
Our Companies We consist of three main companies: Associated Pallet, Inc. is a manufacturer of custom built pallets, mine timbers, wood shavings, chips, and dust; Premium Hardwoods, Inc. manufactures superior quality bandsawn Appalachian hardwoods, wood chips, and mulch; and Industrial Drying & Sterilization specializes in kiln dried and heat treated products that meet the latest export regulations. At Associated Pallet, no part of the wood product is converted to waste. We utilize the entire log to manufacture quality wood products for various industries. Premium Hardwoods, Inc. also regularly purchases standing timber from privately-owned timberlands to keep an adequate supply of raw materials on hand. We also offer a Timberland Stewardship Program to timberland owners to provide the best in timberland management practices. In addition to our lumber and pallet mills in South Carrollton, we also own mills and log yards in Fredonia and Big Clifty, KY.
Our Customers Our customers play a key role in our success in the industrial wood market. It is Associated Pallet, Inc.'s philosophy to supply our customers with quality and consistent products on time. We've received recognition from many of our customers for outstanding service and we are the only wood products company to be certified by Caterpillar tractor. With our experience in various areas of the wood products business, we're able to provide quality products to the following industries: automotive, pharmaceutical, steel, heavy equipment, explosive, food processing, flooring, furniture, and paper products.
