In order to keep an adequate supply of raw materials on hand at our sawmill, Premium Hardwoods, Inc. is a purchaser of standing timber. We utilize only those loggers who have successfully graduated from Kentucky's Master Logger Program to harvest the timber owned by private landowners.

At Premium Hardwoods, we know the importance of timberland to the world around us. Therefore, we support Best Management Practices (BMP's) in timber harvesting. Through the use of proper forestry methods, we can help increase the quality and quantity of Kentucky's timber resources, help improve the habitat for many species of wildlife, and maintain a high quality water source.
